Eve Weatherhead

At Ithaca College, I’m continuing my major in Television, Photography, and Digital Media Productions with a minor in Journalism, and I’m on track to graduate with the Class of 2028. Alongside my academic work, I’m an active member of the Leadership Scholars Program and a student-athlete on the Varsity Swimming and Diving team.

This semester, I’ve continued to build on the foundation I developed through the Lead-In Jumpstart program. Those early experiences helped me connect with other Leadership Scholars and learn how to communicate effectively, stay adaptable, and work well in collaborative environments. Now, I’m focusing on applying those skills more intentionally, supporting others, contributing to inclusive spaces, and stepping up in ways that help the people around me feel valued and empowered.

Being part of this program has encouraged me to reflect on my strengths and how I can use them to make a positive impact, both academically and within my teams and communities. I’m excited to keep growing as a leader throughout the semester.
